Erica and Will’s wedding at Church on the Rock in Huntley, Illinois, was an amazing day to be a part of. As a Huntley wedding photographer, I get to witness so many beautiful love stories. Some are filled with laughter that lights up a room, others feel ethereal and full of soft, dreamy light as the couple says their vows. But every once in a while, I get a wedding that is all of those things—and also just so freaking cool.

After they exchanged their vows in front of their closest friends and family, Erica and Will drove away in their 1993 Mustang, in yellow of course. We snuck away for portraits with the car, then explored the area to take more photos in front of a black-and-yellow train car that perfectly matched their vibe.
