Kelsey and Aaron’s wedding day at Emmett’s Brewing Company in West Dundee, IL, was the perfect reminder that weddings don’t have to be huge to feel incredibly meaningful. Their intimate celebration focused on what mattered most — family, love, and creating memories with the people closest to them. As an Illinois wedding photographer, I absolutely love capturing weddings that are emotional, relaxed, and filled with genuine connection.
Living in Cary, Illinois, Kelsey and Aaron wanted their wedding to feel low-key and intentional, especially as they blended their lives together with their two sweet boys, Grayson and Kaden. Some of the most special moments of the day centered around family — from the boys walking down the aisle with the bridesmaids to the quiet, heartfelt interactions between generations throughout the day. Kelsey especially wanted meaningful photos with her mom and the kids, capturing the deep bond they share, and those moments ended up being some of the most emotional images in their gallery.
