Heather and Austin’s intimate wedding at White Deer Run in Vernon Hills, IL, was pure magic. Their love is the kind that instantly fills a room — the soft smiles, the excited glances, the way they just glow together. From the moment I met them, I knew their micro-wedding was going to be something truly special.

They kept their day sweet and simple with about 30 of their favorite people, a cozy candlelit ceremony led by Heather’s brother, and the cutest one-year-old flower girls who absolutely stole the show. Family was a huge priority for them — from their grandmas (ages 94 and 98!) to the friends they’ve grown up with — so we made sure to capture every hug, laugh, and moment in between. Their first look at Austin’s parents’ home set the tone for the whole day: calm, joyful, and so full of love.

And then… golden hour hit. ✨ With the wildflower bouquet in hand and the golf course glowing behind them, their portraits turned into some of my favorites ever — classic, crisp, and timeless, just how they like them. Heather and Austin, thank you for trusting me with your beautiful, intimate celebration. Your wedding was the sweetest reminder that small days can still hold the biggest joy.
